The 24 hour ticket is €28 against €5 for a TUSSAM day card, buses leave 20 to 40 minutes apart, and the flat old centre puts the cathedral, the Alcázar and the Setas inside about 2 km.
Six of our ten sights are within a 7 minute walk of a stop, and the Alcázar, Santa Cruz, Triana Market and Casa de Pilatos are not.
You want the Isla de la Cartuja, the Expo '92 site and the Macarena, which are a long walk from the cathedral.
You will use the extras: two guided walks and entry to the Salvador and Santa Ana churches come with the €28 ticket.
Someone in your group cannot walk the 2 km between Plaza de España and the Setas.
You want a ride after dark. The last bus leaves stop 1 at 21:00 and the loop takes 75 minutes.
Skip it if
Your list is the cathedral and the Alcázar. Both are reached from the same stop, 7 and 8 minutes away.
You are happy on foot. The cathedral to Plaza de España is about 1.1 km on flat pavement.
You have one day. A missed bus in the evening costs up to 40 minutes at the stop.
You only need a lift now and then. A TUSSAM bus ride is €1.40 from the driver.

One loop of 13 stops and 75 minutes: Paseo de Colón, Plaza de España and María Luisa Park, across to Triana, up the Isla de la Cartuja past the Expo '92 site to Isla Mágica, then back through the Macarena and Plaza de Armas.
The timetable on City Sightseeing's map has 24 departures from stop 1 between 10:00 and 21:00, with gaps of 20 to 40 minutes.
It shows no departure times for stops 10, 11 and 12.
The Civitatis listing says two stops are temporarily closed and that the three Triana stops have been affected by roadworks since 11 August 2025, so ask the driver before you rely on them.
Audio guide in 15 languages. Wheelchair access: yes, according to the operator.
The 24 hour ticket costs €28 for adults and €14 for children aged 5 to 12, booked online with City Sightseeing.
It includes two guided walks, Plaza de España at 12:00 from stop 2 and Santa Cruz at 13:30 from stop 1, entry to the Salvador and Santa Ana churches and 20% off the bullring museum.
The 48 hour Supreme Experience costs €33 (child €17) and adds walks in Triana at 17:30 and Imperial Seville at 16:00, 30 minutes of bike hire and the Sevilla FC stadium tour.
A second 48 hour ticket at €36 (child €23) adds the Seville Aquarium and the Flamenco Dance Museum.
There is no 72 hour ticket.
Civitatis sells the same City Sightseeing bus from €28 and lists child tickets from age 4, one year younger than the operator.
Child fare: ages 5 to 12.

The day cost is the TUSSAM one day tourist card at €5, which gives unlimited city buses and the T1 tram.
The single fare shown is €0.41 a ride on the rechargeable multiviaje card with the 2026 discount, against €1.40 for a ticket bought from the driver.
At €0.41 you would need 13 rides before the €5 card pays for itself.
A three day tourist card is €10.
The metro is a separate company, with one line and singles from €1.35 in the central zone.
These fares come from 2026 fare summaries because TUSSAM's own fares page could not be opened on 5 October 2026.

Public transport is charged per ride up to the daily maximum. Multi-day passes can be cheaper still.
24, 48 or 72 hours
24 hours€28 Hop-On Hop-Off Seville (Experience - 24 Hours) · €28 per day · 5.6 times public transport for the same days
48 hoursLowest cost per day€33 Seville Supreme Experience (48 hours) · €16.50 per day · 3.3 times public transport for the same days
If you buy at all, the 48 hour ticket is the better deal. It costs €33 for adults and €17 for children, against €28 and €14 for 24 hours.
The extra €5 buys a second day, two more guided walks, 30 minutes of bike hire and the Sevilla FC stadium tour. Both tickets run from first use, so a 24 hour ticket started at 15:00 is good until 15:00 the next day.
City Sightseeing Seville sells no 72 hour ticket. The 24 hour ticket is enough if all you want is one 75 minute loop and the two included walks.
By public transport the day costs €5 with TUSSAM's one day tourist card, or less if you pay per ride. Most visitors need only two or three rides, because the cathedral, the Alcázar and Santa Cruz are next to each other.
The T1 tram links Plaza Nueva, the Archivo de Indias, Puerta de Jerez and Prado de San Sebastián, which is 5 minutes from Plaza de España. Circular lines C1 and C2 go round the Isla de la Cartuja and the Macarena, and C3 and C4 follow the inner ring past Paseo de Colón and Plaza de Armas.
Metro line 1 crosses from Puerta de Jerez to Plaza de Cuba in Triana in one stop. Two adults save €46 on the day compared with two 24 hour bus tickets.
Does it suit your trip?
With children
Child tickets cover ages 5 to 12 and cost €14 for 24 hours or €17 for 48 hours. City Sightseeing lists ages 0 to 4 as infants, a separate category from the paid child ticket.
Two adults and two children pay €84 for the 24 hour ticket. The commentary has a separate children's channel alongside 15 languages.
Isla Mágica is stop 9, and Civitatis lists a 33% discount there for ticket holders. The 2026 fare summaries we found show no child price for the TUSSAM tourist card.
If it rains, wait a day. The ticket runs for 24 hours from first use, and City Sightseeing says its vouchers are valid for 12 months.
The buses are open-top double-deckers and the operator's Seville page does not say whether part of the top deck is covered. The lower deck is enclosed.
On a cold or wet evening, note that the wait between buses rises from 30 minutes to as much as 40 after 18:00.
Use the bus early or late in July and August, not in the middle of the day. The top deck is open to the sun and the full loop takes 75 minutes.
Buses leave stop 1 every 20 minutes between 11:25 and 12:45, the tightest part of the timetable. After 18:00 the gap widens to 35 or 40 minutes, with the last departure at 21:00.
From 1 June to 30 September the Triana guided walk on the 48 hour ticket moves from 17:30 to 20:30.
If you cannot walk far
City Sightseeing states that its Seville buses are wheelchair accessible. Civitatis asks you to say so when you book.
The top deck is reached by stairs, so wheelchair users ride on the lower deck. Seville is flat, which helps, but the bus does not go into the old centre: the cathedral is 7 minutes from stop 1 and the Alcázar 8.
For a short hop, the T1 tram stops at the Archivo de Indias, between the cathedral and the Alcázar.
Walk the centre and pay for a bus or tram only when you need one. From the Setas, go down Calle Sierpes to the cathedral and the Alcázar, through Santa Cruz to Plaza de España, then back along the river past the Torre del Oro.
That circuit is about 5 km and flat. Cross the Isabel II Bridge for Triana Market, 8 minutes from Paseo de Colón.
For the Macarena or the Cartuja, take circular line C1 or C2. City Sightseeing's own guided walks of Santa Cruz and Plaza de España last 1 hour each and come only with the bus ticket.
Stop 1, at Paseo de Cristóbal Colón 22 to 23, is where the route starts and the only stop within 8 minutes of the cathedral and the Alcázar. Board there.
The guided walks have limited places, 19 people per group. Be at stop 2 by 11:45 for Plaza de España and at stop 1 by 13:15 for Santa Cruz.
The operator's map shows no departure times for stops 10, 11 and 12 (Torre de los Perdigones, Macarena and Plaza del Duque). Check with the driver before you get off to be picked up there.
The Salvador church entry is valid Monday to Saturday 10:00 to 17:30 and Sunday 15:00 to 19:00. Santa Ana in Triana is open to ticket holders Monday to Friday only.
The last full loop leaves stop 1 at 21:00 and reaches Plaza de Armas at about 22:00.
Small dogs in carriers are allowed on board.
