Privacy policy

The short version

Hoptripo has no user accounts, no newsletter, no comment forms and no advertising. We do not ask for your name or email address and we set no cookies ourselves. Google Analytics, described below, sets its own.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not combine that data with anything else.

Visit statistics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and receives data about the pages you view, your approximate location and your device. Google's privacy policy applies to that data. You can block it in your browser settings or with a privacy extension.

Ticket links

Links to tickets and tours lead to civitatis.com. Once you are on their site, their privacy policy and cookies apply. Some links on this site lead to partner sites; if you book or buy through them, the site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Maps

The stop map loads only when you ask for it. Map images then come from OpenStreetMap servers, which receive your IP address in order to send them.

The fare calculator

The calculator on city pages runs in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent anywhere.

Your rights

If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Brazil you can ask what data a company holds about you and have it corrected or deleted. Since we hold none ourselves, requests about server logs go to Cloudflare, requests about visit statistics go to Google and requests about bookings go to Civitatis.
