About Hoptripo
Hoptripo answers one question per city: is the hop-on hop-off bus worth the ticket, or can you do the same day by metro and on foot?

The sightseeing bus runs in almost every large city and costs several times a transport pass. In some cities it saves the day. In others it spends an hour in traffic between two sights that are ten minutes apart on foot. The answer depends on the size of the city, the hills and where the sights are, so we work it out city by city.
Each city has a fact sheet with the same fields: routes, number of stops, frequency, loop time, first and last bus, prices for 24, 48 and 72 hours and the cost of the same day by public transport. A score built from those numbers gives the verdict.
We are a small independent project. We do not run buses and no operator pays to appear here. There are no accounts and no mailing list: you read the page, decide and leave.
About the ticket links
Ticket links go to Civitatis, a booking site, and open in a new tab. The score does not depend on where you buy: it uses the same thresholds in every city.
